Giggles for Grover

You never realize how fleeting the years can be until you take a walk down memory lane. Recently Jenna's sister showed her the following video. First the river of tears came flooding down the cheeks, then the realization that this sweet little 2 year old Conlan in the video is growing up way too fast. Seeing as though there is really nothing we can do about that, we decided to embrace this precious little moment captured in time and share it with all of you!

We probably should preface the video a bit. Conlan wanted to read one of his favorite Grover stories, "The Monster at the End of This Book", to Grandma. His favorite part was the last page when Grover says "I am so embarrassed". You have to listen really carefully because it is difficult to hear through the cute little fit of giggles that break out everytime that line is read by our little man!

Sassy Girl

Here are a couple pictures of our sweet, sassy little Aislinn. And boy do we mean Sassy with a capital S. You never know what will come out of the mouths of babes...just the other day we had been watching a Shirley Temple movie. No longer remember which one, but it is the one where she sings animal crackers in my soup. Of course after the movie we all had that song stuck in our head. Later in the day Aislinn comes up to Jenna and says "Mommy, I've got animal crackers in my butt!" This is how she decided to tell her that she had a poopy diaper (don't even ask about the potty training, as you can see it is going well). Yes, out of the mouths of babes indeed!

                          

Go Demi, Go!

Bryan got a new iPad and everyone in the family is having a blast playing or using it, even little Demi! Bryan found a game that she can play and there is no stopping that girl once she starts! We caught this video at the tail end of her playing spree. We particularly love that she not only plays the game, but dances to the music as she goes! Silly girl!  



Our First Garden

We have always wanted to create a garden as a family project. Jenna decided this year that there would be no more hoping, but instead doing to make it happen. Everyone pitched in and that is exactly what she got for Mother's day this year, a garden. The best gift ever and one that keeps giving! It took quite a bit of planning and hard work, but we did it! Even little Demi was covered head to toe in dirt! (Anything to lend a hand Mom) We had some great bonding moments and are looking forward to eating some of the results soon!
