Star Wars

We knew it was only a matter of time before Star Wars entered the McCoy household. Conlan is into all 6 movies now. Although he seems to have a preference to Episode 1. He has also decided that he wants to go as a Jedi for Halloween. Which one you ask? Probably the most difficult one to construct. Not Obi-Wan, Anakin or even a storm trooper. He wants to go as Kit Fisto. Google it and you will see that he is a bit complex with head tails and all. So, Mom will be starting the costume now! We will post pictures for all of you to see when the blessed day arrives! But until then we couldn't resist sharing this video of Conlan sporting his Jedi Master skills! Enjoy!

Our Little Monkey

Aisy girl is such a crack up. She has begun to make monkey sounds on command. Here is a clip of her doing her best monkey impression! We love it and couldn't resist sharing!

Mommy's Little Helper

Since Con started school, he has become our little helper. We think he is finally appreciating the time we have together now, yay! School has sparked a new side to him. Whether it be cleaning up dishes, laundry, shredding papers and even baking he wants to help out. We love it and are asking ourselves, "Why didn't we send him to Kindergarten sooner?"

We definitely are cherishing the time we have together. Here are some pictures of the Con man in the kitchen helping mom!

Our Trip to Cali

We took a family trip out to California this past weekend and had so much fun. We had to get our niece and nephew back for their sister's birthday, so we planned a road trip! As soon as Conlan got off of school on Friday we high tailed it out of town. Because there were 6 of us traveling one of us had to fly out. So we dropped Bryan off at the airport and Jenna drove the 4 kids and a Guinea Pig on a 7 hour journey! About 2 hours out of LA everyone was in rare form a.k.a meltdown. When we finally arrived, everyone sighed a sigh of relief. Whew! Next time we'll just rent a bus. If our family expands anymore, we may have to! Bryan's brother Matt, daughter Rosy and adopted son Robert joined us! We had a blast on Friday night and are sure the details of the night are a blurr to the 2 McCoy boys. We will spare the details here, but let's just say for those of us not partaking of Grandpa's cough syrup it was pretty amusing! We got a chance to head to the beach on Saturday and Saturday night was spent preparing for Cousin Kyla's party. On Sunday we woke up to magical pixie dust everwhere. Tinkerbell had visited in the night and decorated Bell Bell (as Kyla puts it) everywhere! We had to duck out early, but had a great time and got to see a bunch of friends and family we hadn't seen in a while. We stopped off to see Gaga J and Papa Paul for dinner and then made it home. Whew, what a whirlwind weekend! It was awesome to see everyone. We miss you all and can't wait to plan our next trip out again real soon!

This moment reminisced the movie Stepbrothers. We had to snap a picture!

Aisy on her first trip to the beach. She loved it. When mom took her down to the water she snuggled right in and relaxed. She loves the water like mommy too!

Cousin Rosy, Conlan, Daddy and Aisy chillin' (literally) in the icy cold water.

Aislinn, Sasha, Kyla and Sienna.

This pretty much sums up our sentiment for the beach.

Conlan adored the water and had a great time splashing, jumping and covering himself head to toe in sand. It is so much fun to watch his process.

Aislinn was loving the sand. She too was covered head to toe in sand. She even tried eating it. Love those solids!

Saturday night after all of the kids were in bed we made Kyla's birthday cake! As you can see we had a little too much fun posing the fairies in their best pole dancing positions!

The cake was finally finished in the wee early morning hours on Sunday for the birthday girl and the pole dancing fairies were on their best behavior! Happy birthday Kyla!

Happy Birthday Bryan

We celebrated Bryan and had an awesome night! We didn't get very many pictures in, but had a good time anyway! Bryan decided he wanted sushi that night. So we made sushi (fish free of course) and it disappeared. We finished the night off with some earl grey cupcakes. Yummy! We love you honey, you rock!

Look Who Is Trying To Crawl

Life will be over as we know it! Aislinn has been getting into the crawling pose, with a little help. She is still a little hesitant and it is so cute! She keeps trying, and we know she will get it very soon!
