About Us

My photo
We are a family of 5 that moved from California to Arizona about 8 years ago. We love it here! We love to watch movies, enjoy the great outdoors when it's not blazing hot, play sports, hike, ride bikes and spend time together! Life is awesome and we wish the same to all of you!

Arizona's Renaissance Faire

This past weekend the whole Zonie gang attended the Ren Faire. Everyone dressed up but the McCoy's. Jenna has been super busy with school so the costumes were put on hold. She is trying to get to them this summer so that they will have them for next year...keeping our fingers crossed that happens! It was a perfect weather day temp wise, but most of us turned into krispy critters by the end. We all enjoyed ourselves and had a romping good time!!!

Aislinn was enthralled when she got to meet Twig the fairy. She was a little shy meeting someone from her fairy realm, but Twig was very sweet!

Aisy got a fairy house from Twig and has not put it down since (seriously she has been sleeping with it)

Emmy fit in perfectly. Audra had a matching costume to go with it, but we didn't get her in the picture.

Caydon was Bree's Knight in Shining Armor

Conlan had manly proportions of meat and soda. They were almost bigger than he was!

Ewifin, Ewifin (That is Aisy's word for Elephant). Once she saw them she would not stop. So, when it was her turn to ride she refused to go. And she still wouldn't stop, but this time is was in a fit and rage including tears. Sheesh, 2 year olds!

Here is Grandma Nanny and Sienna sporting the new parasol. Sienna and Jenna both got one and they thought it was the best money spent all day!

Kyla enjoying her frozen orange. By the end she had turned into a frozen orange too (she was covered in orange food coloring)

Demi enjoyed the parasol too and wouldn't give it back even after Jenna begged and pleaded!

The bird show and a chance for all of us to rest in the grass. Ahhh, the show wasn't too bad either.

Damara is 4 Months Old

Demi is already 4 months old! The time is flying and we swear she grows by the day. She has recently discovered her tootsies (feet) and is now squirming around the floor by kicking her feet. It is just a matter of time before the rolling over begins! She is still as sweet as can be!
Hey sweet baby girl

Peek-a-boo

She sits up really well, with some assistance of course!

Conlan hamming it up! Peek-a-boo to you too little man!

Birthday Festivities

Conlan's birthday this year was full of lots of celebrating! He had both sets of grandparents on Daddy's side to celebrate with too! We attended a Coyotes game on Saturday and on Sunday went to Golfland and dinner with the family. And on Tuesday he woke up to breakfast in bed, surprised at school for lunch and then the Aquarium and Rainforest Cafe that night. Whew. We are happy to retire the month of March this year and all of the non-stop birthdaying. Our big boy is now 7 and starting a new chapter in his book of life.
Mmmmmm! Smore's cupcakes

We split into teams, boys against girls

Daddy & Con ripping up the track! Okay not really, they had the slowest car out there and were getting lapped by everyone else!

Go Coyotes Go!!!

Bryan's Mom and Stepdad were in town and we got to go to a hockey game. We love our Coyotes and happily went to root them on! Aisy LOVED Howler this time and wanted to know where he was at all times! They contending for the playoffs (yay). They played the Sharks and lost 1-4. It was a fun game though!

After the game Con got a chance to take a shot on goal

Mary Had A Little Pet

Conlan had to do another really cute poem for school. It was Mary Had a Little Pet by Judith Nutelli McLaughlin. The video was taken at a restaurant so it may be difficult to hear. But it is too cute not to share!

Aisy not to be outdone wanted to recite her poem too, but when the time came she got shy. She threw a fit that Conlan got his video on the blog and not hers, so here is Aisy's starring moment too! :)
