About Us

My photo
We are a family of 5 that moved from California to Arizona about 8 years ago. We love it here! We love to watch movies, enjoy the great outdoors when it's not blazing hot, play sports, hike, ride bikes and spend time together! Life is awesome and we wish the same to all of you!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

We have so much to be thankful for this year, and are so grateful to have our friends and family in our lives!

On a side note, for those of you who have been asking about the baby we have an update for you! We are at 39 weeks today! When Jenna went to the Dr. yesterday she was 80% effaced and 4 cm dilated. If the Bean decides to stay baking in the oven this week, after Thursday's appointment (Dec. 2nd, which is the Baby's due date), they will induce. We are getting closer! Just look for Jenna in the Macy's day parade today, she will be floating with the other balloons!

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

Belly Shots with Baby Bean

With 4 weeks to go (and counting), it was time to take some belly shots of Jenna and Baby Bean. Not to mention that we all feel the baby is going to make an early appearance. When Jenna went to the Dr. last week she found out she is already 3 cm dilated. Jenna's sister has been doing some photography and is trying to build up her portfolio. It was a bonus for both and the pictures turned out awesome! Thank you Auntie Audra! Below are some of our favorites from the photo shoot!

Halloween

Happy Halloween! All decked out and ready for some treats, we met over at Gaga Nanny's (Jenna's mom) house. We have turned into quite a large group for trick-or-treating, so we had groups. The older kids ran up ahead and hit about 3-4 houses to our 1 for the stroller brigade. And then there was the pregnant chick who made it about a block before she had to turn around and head home to prop up the feet. After the neighborhood walk everyone came back to enjoy chili and cornbread, which was delicious. Then it was off to bed (school/work nights ruin all the fun).

Bryan as Tinkerbell's Dad and Aislinn as Tinkerbell

Emmalina as Tinkerbell and Audra as Roller Derby Girl

Tristan as a Death Eater (from Harry Potter) and Conlan as Harry Potter

Gaga J with Harry and cousin Kyla as Jasmine

Jenna as Mother Earth
We are missing a few people in the pictures above. Which is too bad, cause everyone's costumes were so cute. Auntie Bee went as Jessie and Caydon as Buzz from Toy Story. Cousin Sienna went as Punk Alice in Wonderland. Gaga Nanny went as a Fall Princess. Hope you all had a wonderful Halloween too!

Jack-O-Lanterns

After a big Halloween brunch, we decided to carve our pumpkins. Conlan wanted a skull and Aislinn wanted Bell Bell (Tinkerbell). Yes, she has become obsessed!! Hoping that the kids would actually enjoy the fun this year we dove head in. No such luck. Aisy fell asleep and Conlan after 5 minutes decided he was done. So the task fell to, yep you guessed it, mommy and daddy! After gutting the orange masses of gook out of the pumpkins we set to work. They turned out great and we got to enjoy them for about a day before they started to rot. It is still pretty hot out here. At least we have the pictures.

Schnepf Farms

We took our annual trip to Schnepf Farms the day before Halloween. They have rides and food and it is always a good time. We always pick out our pumpkins for carving, but they did not have a good selection. So we bought a token one and found them elsewhere. We also were in for a treat this year. Grandma Janet and Papa Paul (Bryan's mom and step-dad) joined us for our festivities. Fun was had by all!

Happy Fall to all!
