Kindergarten Graduation

With a tear and a smile we said good-bye to kindergarten and hello to first grade. It is amazing what one school year can do! Con has grown so much this year, and not just in height! During the graduation they asked the kids what they want to be when they grow up, Con has decided he wants to be an athlete. He has become a little man right before our very eyes and we couldn't be prouder. Congratulations Con on completing your first year of school. You did it!

A Mother's Day Pampering

Jenna got to celebrate Mother's Day a few days early. All of the Moms in Conlan's class were invited for a morning of pampering today. We were to bring a hairbrush and make-up. When we got there the kids desks had all kinds of goodies for us and it was super cute. We had muffins and juice (Con decided to serve Mom). After that 2 adorable songs (video below) and then the fun began. We got a hand and back massage. Conlan did Mom's hair and make-up! I brought all of my stuff (cover-up, spakle, blush, eyeshadow, lipstick, sparkles and even mascara and eyeliner) and he went to town. He actually did a great job! Just call me "Princess Sparkles" today, cause I am covered head to toe in them! My cup is full right now and I feel so loved!

Conlan "Our Soccer Super-Star"

Con decided he wanted to give soccer a try this year, so we signed him up for a local soccer league. He has played with Bry quite a bit, but we had no idea that he was such a powerhouse. He is doing really well for never playing on a team before. If anything he needs to learn to "share" with the team. Bryan is his coach and it is super adorable to watch. This particular league makes it fun for the kids and tries to keep the competition out by not keeping score. Although all of us parents are keeping track on the sidelines. They don't really have positions yet and they still look like a swarm of bees going after the ball. The important thing is that Con is having a great time and he counts down to each of his practices and games. He loves it, and we are so happy he found something to channel all of that energy!!!

with all of them and gives each of them high fives after
each play.

Goooooaaaaaalllllll!

Nap Time!

Jenna was frantically trying to finish up a school project while Aisy napped. She usually gets 2 solid hours, bonus! Our kitty cat, Sunny, has been very leary of Aislinn since she joined our family and usually won't go near her. Imagine my surprise when I looked over and saw the two girls snuggled in for some awesome shut eye. It was too cute to pass up the photo op!

Children's Museum

Jenna and the kids got to take a trip to the Phoenix Children's Museum with their friend, Sophia, and her daughter, Sarah. What a wonderful place. Mommy had such a good time too, who says it is just for kids! We didn't get to spend a long time, but enough to know we would like to go again and spend more time!

Here are Aislinn and her friend Sarah scootin' around on the little ride-on toys. With a little help from the Mom's they were ripping up the track!

This little contraption allowed you to drop wooden tops and watch them drop in different patterns. It captured our attention for quite a while.

Aisy went back for more. She loved it!

This was the coolest thing by far. Noodle forest. It is just the noodles you would use for the pool hung up on ropes. We want one for our house.

Conlan the noodle!
