Happy Valentine's Day

We're Baaaack!!!

We realize it has been a while since we have updated the blog. Our sincerest apologies. Unfortunately we have been having some serious technical difficulties. Since mid-December both of our computers have taken turns crashing, recovering, spending time in the shop, only to crash again. This is the first moment that our computers have actually behaved themselves enough to allow us to get on and update. Please see the new entries below.

Rodeo Days

Conlan's kindergarten class had a rodeo for the kids a few weeks back. They set up various stations for the kids to rotate through the activities. They got to: pan for gold, horse race with the horses they made at home, sing campfire songs, play horseshoes, square dance and eat real cowboy food. It was super cute and the kids had a great time.

California

We got to take a family trip out to Cali between Christmas and New Year's. Jenna's sister, Audra, was expecting baby #4 on New Years Eve. Emmalina was born on the 31st and helped us all bring in the new year. Jenna got to stay an extra week with Aislinn to help Audra recover from her c-section and juggle the kids for her. Bryan and Con had to come home because school and work were awaiting them. We had so much fun getting to see family and friends while we were there!

Aislinn's 1st Birthday

We had 2 celebrations this year.Mom and Aisy were in California visiting family during Aisy's actual 1st birthday. We celebrated with cupcakes. Let's just say that Aislinn has discovered the sugary goodness in paper baking cups. The pandoras box has been opened, she loves her cupcakes now!

Tinkerbell helped us bring in her 1st birthday for our little fairy girl.

When we got home to Arizona we celebrated with another round of cupcakes.

Good things can come in big packages too! Aisy opening up her new kitchen.

She spends lots of time in her kitchen now preparing delicious, gourmet, plastic meals.

Conlan The Reader

We are so proud of Conlan. He just finished his 2nd quarter of kindergarten and he is reading! Check him out below. We ran out of room on the card before he was finished, but it will give you a good idea of how amazing he is (yes, we are those sickening parents who are really proud of our children), enjoy!

Here Comes Santa Claus

Santa can make his way to the McCoy household now. We had been waiting, and planning to take pictures with Santa for a while, but schedules did not permit. Conlan was so excited he was bursting at the seams to tell Santa what he wanted. When the big moment arrived, he forgot what he really wanted so he told him he wanted star wars figures. It was reminiscent of that moment in "The Christmas Story" when Ralphie sits with Santa. Aisy however wanted nothing to do with the man in the suit. She screamed and threw a fit. To be expected when you are a little one!

Conlan and Santa. We thought this Santa looked like the real thing! He was very jolly and sported a real beard.
