Ok, so I won't get into the long debate about weapons here...this is meant to be a fun lighthearted post! With that said Conlan does have a whole artillery of plastic weaponry. From Army to Star Wars, from Nerf to water guns. I have never understood the fascination of play "killing" with toy guns, but then again I am not a boy and who am I to judge! The other day, Conlan was having one of his typical gun fights with imaginary bad guys. He got too close to Damara and she snatched a gun right out of his hands. She was so proud of herself, you can see the sheepish grin below. It was too funny to pass up the kodak moment here! Well, I guess being the youngest you have to fend for yourself, and she did!

Con's First Soccer Tournament

Conlan went to Flagstaff for his first tournament and had a blast. The team did really well considering that they are a new team. They played against some tough teams, but held their own nicely. Con's team tied for second place, but ended up third because they didn't have as many total goals as the team they tied with. We are so proud of our little man. He is doing great!

Laundry Day

Look who went out with the laundry! So, cousin Emmalina has decided that she wants to sleep in the laundry basket every night. When her mom, Audra, tells her it is time for bed she goes around collecting all of her blankies (she has 4 or 5 on any given day) and puts them into the basket. She then proceeds to climb in, snuggle up and fall asleep. It is hilarious! Mind you she has a bed. The other night we were all hanging out over at their house and Damara fell asleep. Emmy decided she wanted to share her "bed" with the baby. This is a very generous thing to offer when you are almost two and very possessive of you di-di's (a.k.a. blankies). Who could resist such a sweet gesture? Damara slept through the whole picture taking ordeal and just lied there blissfully peaceful and all snuggly warm! Who knew that a laundry basket could provide such comfort!

Damara's 9 Month Pictures

Our sweet little Demi had her 9 month photo session with Auntie Audra this past week! She was all smiles and cooperative too! That is saying a lot for a little one. She has the sweetest personality and she is in such a fun stage. We are all really enjoying her. She is in the beginning stages of crawling, but for the most part spends the time rolling around on the floor or scooting on her behind to get to where she wants to be. Love those sweet cheeks too!
