More Aislinn Pictures

Hi everyone! Here are some more pictures of Aisy, she is 2 weeks old today and the time has flown! I am feeling much better (aside from the tailbone which is still very achy). Life is good and we are all adjusting great to being a family of 4. It is so exciting!















Ga-ga J came to visit over the weekend and got some good bonding time in with Aislinn. She also got her first sponge bath and did not like it one bit (which was to be expected)!
























Our beautiful little fairy princess. Her name, Aislinn Shayla, means dream from the fairy fort.











She has been spending lots of time slumbering away and getting adjusted to being on the outside. Big brother Con has been loving the time he gets with her when she is awake. As you can see she already thinks her brother is a crack up!

It's A Girl!

Aislinn Shayla is finally here! Needless to say we were pleasantly surprised to find out she was a girl. Labor went really quickly and she was born on January 7th at 10:28 am. She was a big bundle of love at 8 pounds 11 ounces and 19 1/2 inches long. She is calm and peaceful and Conlan is excited to be in the role of big brother. It is going to be so much fun to see the sibling relationship develop between them! We are all adjusting and trying to get sleep where we can. Here are some pictures for you all to enjoy! Happy New Year

With our goals for 2009 in hand (forget those New Year's resolutions) we were ready to say goodbye to 2008 and welcome in 2009. We even came up with our motto for the year "2008 was not so great but, 2009 is the year to shine!" We spent the evening over at Jenna's Moms house with the last of the California gang having a mellow evening of watching movies, playing games and munching on homemade goodies! We rang in the New Year with poppers and sparkling cider. Jenna's sister, Audra, and her 3 kids go back to California today and it has become a big joke that as soon as she leaves, Pumpkin will make his or her appearance. The McCoy's are anxiously awaiting the babies arrival. As the due date gathers nearer, bags are packed and ready to go! We will keep you posted on Pumpkin updates!
