Another year has passed us by and we are grateful to be finishing happy and healthy! We hope you have all had a fantastic year as well! Here is what we have been up to:
This year Bryan has been focusing
on taking his Real Estate business to the next level. In addition to working
with his residential clients, he has been focusing on developing a commercial
client base as well. Working with several clients in commercial leasing and
sales, he continues to focus on his client’s needs and providing the best
service he can. In addition, Bryan
has begun working with a builder and developer on a residential townhome
project. It is in the very beginning stages but Bryan is happy to finally get his feet wet in
the development arena. When he is not running all around town doing real
estate, he is hanging out with the family (who is running all around town for
Conlan’s soccer games). He does understand that they will not stay this young
forever and tries to spend as much time with them as he can. Bryan had another good year in Youth and
Government this year. His program area, Constitutional Convention, was another
success and the kids seemed to have a lot of fun as well. This was his 21st
year volunteering for the program, over half his life. Where does the time go?
Jenna
Still
rocking the world of Domestic Goddess and Student! Currently she is in the
midst of finals for her fall semester and on track to finish her BA in Interior
Architecture and Design at the Academy of Art University in 2 ½ years. At the
moment that seems like an eternity, but we all know it will fly by in the blink
of an eye. Jenna helps out in Conlan’s class once a week at the school and takes
care of little munchkins on the home front. The summer brought a part time job
with a local custom home builder where she is able to use her CAD skills and
assist the Interior Designer. She is happy to put her knowledge to work in a
real world situation. Needless to say there is little rest for this Mommy!
Conlan
This year
Conlan turned 9 and has become quite the fashion trend-setting little man. Conlan
is in his third year of club soccer. His team has been rocking and rolling at
the tournaments taking 1st place in the last two! He is still
playing left midfield and has been coming into his own as a player. He is in
4th grade now and has made honor roll the past 2 quarters. He also was awarded
“Exceptional Student” in his class for September. Our little man is growing up
and we are so proud of him!
Aislinn
She will be
turning 5 in January and starting Kindergarten next year. Tear, sniff…where
does the time go? Aislinn has been working very hard in learning her letters
and numbers, reading beginning reader books and working on her writing skills.
She loves to play with her sister and cousins (Kyla and Emmalina). Aislinn will also be starting dance classes in
January. She loves to dance around the house with mommy and her sister and be
silly! She has found a creative streak too. Lately she has been drawing and
painting and enjoying her creative projects. She is developing into such a
sweet, helpful little lady!
Damara
Yes, the
terrifying threes have hit the McCoy household in the last few weeks. Our sweet
little Damara is now 3 and packed full of fire! Where did that angel go? She is
full of giggles and sunshine most days. Damara may be younger than Aislinn, but
that doesn’t stop her from keeping up with her big sister. She loves to paint
and draw too! She has recently discovered the art of paper cutting (the proof
is all over the family room floor most days). Demi girl is also taking an
interest in dance, and we are sure that she will be following in her big
sisters ballet shoes very soon. No more babies, this charming little one is now
a big girl!
Love and hugs from our family to yours. May you enjoy this holiday season!
Love,
The McCoy
FamilyBryan, Jenna, Conlan (9), Aislinn (4) and Damara (3)
Happiness is not something you postpone for the future; it is something you design for the present.
